Job Responsibilities

Performs professional duties in the maintenance of accounting records and the verification and documentation of financial transactions. Responsible for collaborating with Supply Manager to ensure proper tagging, organization, tracking and screening/disposal/transfers of all inventory. Responsible for maintaining accurate records in Banner and reconciling financial reports related to fixed assets. Comply with state guidelines and assist Supply Manager in completing required documentation and scheduling visits for disposal of inventory. Cross-train on other finance office procedures as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and professional experience directly related, such as accounting, procurement, and/or capital asset accounting. Must have (2) years accounting experience with knowledge of state and federal governmental fiscal and accounting processes.
