Minimum Salary $37,123.24
Salary offer commensurate with education and related experience.

Position Summary

Processes College payroll and related financial activities, ensuring accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance with applicable regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processes payroll, deductions, benefits, direct deposits, and related employee records.
  • Serves as the College’s TRS reporting official and maintains required payroll documentation.
  • Prepares payroll tax filings, W-2s, liabilities, reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Researches and resolves payroll discrepancies and processes necessary adjustments.
  • Supports audits and collaborates with departments to maintain accurate payroll operations.
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Payroll Administration, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of payroll processing or payroll management experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Higher education or public-sector payroll experience
  • Experience with ERP payroll/HR systems
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    Knowledge of payroll, taxation, benefits, and reporting requirements. Strong attention to detail, reconciliation, organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency with ERP systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software; ability to maintain confidentiality and work extended hours during peak payroll periods.
