Position Description
Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.

Major/Essential Functions

• Provides support to Facilities Operations administrative team members and acts as a resource to assist in various administrative and clerical matters.
• Identifies issues or problems associated with administrative matters within the office and researches solutions within a specific area.
• Prepares documents, records, incoming and outgoing communications and maintains records for the Facilities Operations Division. 
• Works cross-functionally with administrative support personnel as well as provides backup support to other departmental administrative support personnel.
• Helps the supervisor to develop and modify processes for completion and documentation of regulatory compliance items.
• Maintains and tracks progress for compliance with JACHO, TDLR, and others.
• Assists in scheduling training for junior personnel.

Visa Information
TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions.
