Clinical Instructor of Nursing

Hartwick College Department of Nursing is accepting applications on a continuing basis for adjunct instructors for both our clinical and laboratory based nursing courses. Clinical sites include acute and long term care agencies in Otsego County. Requirements include a master’s degree in nursing, a bachelor’s degree in nursing, an unencumbered NYS RN license, and at least three years of recent clinical experience. Consideration will be given to those candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree in nursing who are actively engaged in coursework leading to a master’s degree in nursing. Prior teaching experience and/or prior teaching at the collegiate level is preferred. Duties may include teaching in the clinical and/or laboratory setting, evaluation, and collaboration with course coordinators. This pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis, should an opportunity arise, and applications submitted will remain active for up to two years.

Salary range: $3,625-6,575 per course.

Study Abroad and Off-Campus Study
Hartwick students travel everywhere, from Italy to India, for January Term, semester-long, or year-long programs. Athletics
Hartwick sponsors 18 intercollegiate teams, 8 for men and 10 for women. Hartwick sports compete at the NCAA Division III level. Many of Hartwick's Division III teams participate in the Empire 8 conference.
