CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Faculty of Medical Sciences at UM6P (FMS-UM6P) is expanding its academic team and growing its teaching, research, and specialized training activities in pharmacy. We are inviting applications for faculty positions (teaching and research) in the following areas:

Industrial Pharmacy

PharmD with a specialist qualification in industrial pharmacy, or an equivalent recognized qualification.

Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy

PharmD with a specialist qualification in clinical pharmacy or hospital pharmacy, or an equivalent recognized qualification.

Medical Laboratory Sciences / Clinical Biology

PharmD with a specialist qualification in medical laboratory sciences or medical biology, or an equivalent recognized qualification.

Pharmacology and Pharmacodynamics

PharmD with a specialist qualification in pharmacology and pharmacodynamics or clinical pharmacology, or an equivalent recognized qualification.

Applicants must state clearly in their application which profile they wish to be considered for.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

• Teach lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in the pharmacy curriculum;
• Develop research activities in their area of specialty;
• Supervise students and early-career researchers;
• Contribute to the educational and scientific development of their discipline;
• Build collaborations with hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, and academic partners;
• Help develop the FMS s specialized training programs;
• Contribute, within their area of expertise, to the design, development, and accreditation of future pharmacy specialty degrees;
• Help set up the clinical placement sites and partnerships these programs require;
• Where appropriate, take on academic and educational coordination roles, in line with decisions of the relevant governing bodies.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must demonstrate:

• A doctorate in pharmacy (PharmD);
• A specialist qualification relevant to the profile applied for;
• Relevant experience in academia, hospital practice, clinical laboratories, or industry;
• Aptitude for teaching and supervision at university level;
• A research record appropriate to the level of the position;
• The ability to help build and develop their discipline.
• Experience supervising residents or interns, designing curricula, accrediting programs, managing quality assurance, or coordinating academic programs is an advantage.

Missions

Les enseignants-chercheurs recrut s auront notamment pour missions de:

• Participer aux enseignements th oriques, dirig s et pratiques du cursus de pharmacie;
• D velopper des activit s de recherche dans leur domaine de sp cialit ;
• Encadrer les tudiants et jeunes chercheurs;
• Contribuer au d veloppement p dagogique et scientifique de leur discipline;
• D velopper des collaborations avec les structures hospitali res, les laboratoires, les industries pharmaceutiques et les partenaires acad miques;
• Participer au d veloppement des formations sp cialis es de la FMS;
• Contribuer, dans leur domaine d expertise, la conception, au montage et l accr ditation de futurs dipl mes de sp cialit en pharmacie;
• Participer la structuration des terrains de stage et des partenariats n cessaires ces formations;
• Participer, le cas ch ant, leur coordination acad mique et p dagogique conform ment aux d cisions des instances comp tentes.

Profil g n ral attendu

Les candidats devront justifier:

• D un doctorat en pharmacie;
• D une qualification specialisee correspondant au profil concerne;
• D une experience academique, hospitaliere, biologique ou industrielle pertinente;
• D une aptitude a l enseignement superieur et a l encadrement;
• D une activite scientifique compatible avec le niveau du poste;
• D une capacite a contribuer a la structuration et au developpement de leur discipline. Une exp rience dans l encadrement de r sidents ou d internes, la conception de curricula, l accr ditation de formations, l assurance qualit ou la coordination acad mique constituera un atout.
