Job Title:Business Operations Analyst – Clinical Operations

Scope of Position

The Business Analyst functions as an integral member of the James Lung Cancer Screening Program and the Thoracic Service Line at The James. Under the direction of the Service Line Administrator for the Thoracic Service Line, the Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) Program coordinates and supports the business/financial operations of the James ambulatory operations to provide patient care services for early lung cancer detection. The LCS program is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities related to the LCS program located throughout the James Ambulatory locations and the mobile LCS Van, and collaborating with multiple teams and managers in arranging clinical services. The Analyst participates in business planning, supports process improvement activities, participates in multidisciplinary meetings, and other internal and external groups that impact the delivery of high-quality health services across the continuum of care for patients of the James Cancer Hospital.


Position Summary

The Business Analyst functions as an integral part of The James Thoracic Service Line. The Analyst will use business expertise to provide support to clinical operations including overall program management of the Lung Cancer Screening program, manage multiple data elements associated with the LCS program, assure quality and regulatory requirements are met, and provide consultation and education on the LCS program. The Business Analyst develops, aligns, and operationalizes the clinical, academic, and research activities to support the overall Cancer Program goals and to ensure the implementation of key OSUCCC-The James initiatives through interdisciplinary collaboration.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
