The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

  • This position is totally responsible for the operation of the Control Desk at Facilities Management & Planning. This includes after hours, weekends and holidays.
  • This position is responsible on a 24-hour/7-day basis to receive requests for emergency maintenance and then direct and coordinate the various management, trades and custodial activities.
  • Creates work orders, properly documents unusual incidents, and notifies appropriate management staff of serious situations involving FM&P or its employees.
  • Monitors a variety of computerized alarm systems for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, assesses the alarms that come in, and directs the appropriate response.
  • Maintains a 24/7 point of contact for all FM&P activities.

Required Skills
  • Associate's or Vocational/Technical degree required, B.A./B.S. preferred.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience.
