Nature & Purpose of Position:Peer Career Coaches are responsible for helping student become career ready and for supporting various functions of the career center, such as career fair prep, front desk reception, and campus events tabling. Peer Coaches may meet 1:1 with students to review resumes or LinkedIn profiles. They may also accompany staff at workshops or lead presentations for student organizations. If you enjoy mentoring your peers and preparing for your own career success, join our team!
Other Requirements for the Position:Example Job Duties:
· Assist students with resume/cover letter building; LinkedIn profiles
· Aid with departmental functions, such as career fairs, events, on-campus interviews, and job database maintenance
· Assist students with appointment-making
· Help visitors with questions
· Adhere to all university policies and procedures
· Attend department trainings and meetings as required
· Demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and punctuality
