Job Summary

This position assists the Registrar with student record management.

  • Supervisory controls
    • This position reports directly to the Registrar.

  • Major Duties
    • Supports transfer credit review
    • Builds eCampus courses in Banner 9 (SIS)
    • Responds to and processes student and faculty questions, forms, and requests
    • Assists with transcript downloading and enrollment verification
    • Processes in house Registrar forms including but not limited to roster correction forms, major changes, degree adjustments and substitutions, catalog term changes, and grade changes
    • Assists with certifying the completion of degree requirements
    • Performs related duties
    • Must adhere to relevant federal and state laws; University System of Georgia and Board of Regents guidelines and polices; and to the ABAC Academic Catalog and ABAC Employee Handbook

  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Associates degree, bachelors preferred
    • 2-3 years experience in an office environment
    • Proficiency in computers
    • Ability to learn new systems
    • Ability to analyze problems and to develop and implement solutions
    • Skill in oral and written communication
    • High level of attention to detail

  • Physical demands / Work environment
    • Work is typically performed sitting at a desk while working on a computer in the Office of the Registrar located on the Tifton campus
    • Some lifting of boxes and files
    • Some crouching and bending
