The Testing Services Department is seeking (1) Testing Services Coordinator - NEWTON Campus to join the already awesome team on the Newton Campus taking the department to the next level of excellence!

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Coordinator of Testing Services - NEWTON Campus is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the testing center. This position is responsible for the consistent delivery of testing services that are professional, prompt, convenient and delivered in a manner that reflects good customer service. Additionally, the Coordinator establishes the testing calendar for the center, orienting and training staff, evaluating the testing staff performance, and promoting on-going staff development. This position maintains the center's testing records, produces monthly, annual, and other reports as requested. Using this data, the Testing Coordinator will analyze departmental operating procedure and implement changes to improve operations as appropriate. This position is responsible for the receipt, security and return of highly confidential test records and files. The Coordinator of Testing ensures that students have equity of access to testing services. This position works with the Director, Assistant Directors and other Coordinators of Testing to maintain a seamless delivery of testing services across the College. This position will work with other GSU departments and the community to deliver exams. Job Duties- Supervises staff and testing services at their campus
- Proctor exams in accordance with policies and guidelines.
- Maintains a secure testing environment, and ensures staff does the same to maintain vendor requirements
- Coordinates with vendors regarding issues with exams, data retention, in conjunction with staff and based on state and/or vendor requirements
- Trains staff in proper proctoring, customer service and data retention
- Uses data on campuses to analyze testing events and develop strategies for future testing, or identify areas where testing services can improve
- Works with campus departments to answer test related questions; tables at events to promote the benefits of exams
- Organize group testing on or off-campus
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of training and experience.
Preferred Hiring Requirements:
- Knowledge of Testing services, of proctoring and security standards
- Customer services knowledge, and ability to address needs of students while maintaining vendor standards for security
- Knowledge of the Georgia State University (GSU) campus preferred.
- Ability to create reports and analyze data to review the effectiveness of test offerings at the campuses supervised
- Ability to troubleshoot technology issues and work with GSU IT and exam vendors
- Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders in exams (examinees, parents, vendors, officials from other schools)
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to pass criminal background investigation.

The university announced in April 2008 that is will begin Division I-AA football in 2010.
