Job Description

IT Project Manager (Tech) – Intermediate is responsible for the project life cycle through the initiation, planning, execution, and closure phases for IT projects involving multiple technologies, multiple systems, business unit functions and stakeholders. Projects range in size and complexity in support of strategic business goals and objectives. The IT Project Manager (Tech) – Intermediate manages IT initiatives as they move from design, to build, installation, go-live, training and ultimately into the customer’s operational state; Ensures completion of essential functions required to ensure consistent, quality, successful delivery of assigned projects, while managing competing demands of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality and stakeholder expectations; Applies industry knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principals, and technical capabilities to perform tasks and projects and may serve as informal resource for less experienced colleagues; Works on complex projects of large scope and may refer to precedents and defined parameters; Completes routine work independently and receives general guidance on new projects. The Project Manager (Tech) – Intermediate exchanges information on sensitive matters and works to build consensus.


Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Four years of direct project management and leadership responsibility for cross-functional, highly complex IT projects; Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills; Ability to communicate complex technical concepts; Possess general understanding in the areas of large IT infrastructure; Self-managed, highly motivated and has a strong drive for results; skilled in managing a team.

Desired Education and Experience:
4-8 years of relevant experience. Professional certification such as PMP or CAPM strongly desired.

The salary range for this position is $96,300-109,480 and the offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications.
