Job Functions:


This position will assist with the response to student and family concerns for Housing and Residence Life Facilities. The position will report to the Quality Control Coordinator and will support the customer service functions for Housing and Residence Life Facilities. The position will assist in monitoring processes and conditions in residential spaces, Housing and Residence Life buildings, and Housing and Residence Life exteriors to ensure proper completion of work and customer service goals are met.


Job Duties:


  • Assists with Housing and Residence Life Facilities concerns.
  • Assist with routine assessments of Housing Areas with regards to environmental conditions within the living spaces.
  • Assists with ensuring all work requests, including Preventative Maintenance requests, are regularly monitored and reviewed for completion.
  • Monitors existing issues within the Housing Facilities that affect customer service and perception, as well as longevity.
  • Present options and/or provide feedback for improvement to the Quality Control Coordinator or above with regards to controls and procedures within the Housing Facilities.
  • May engage with 3rd party vendors to provide necessary services outside of the Housing and Residence Life Facilities sphere of ability.
  • May coordinate project activities to ensure objectives and Housing Facilities quality controls are met.

Departmental Requirements:


  • Must possess independent decision making and professional judgment, as well as a sense of urgency with regards to Customer Service matters.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to apply professionalism, understanding, and sensitivity to all students or family interactions.
  • Requires strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in University Housing and/or Facilities is preferred.
