Job Details

The Education Department seeks a part-time instructor committed to culturally responsive pedagogies, to teach EDUC 312: Integrating Arts in the Learning Process. 

This course focuses on the integration of fine arts in the elementary school curriculum. Students will learn how to meaningfully incorporate the visual arts, drama, music, and dance across the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities in K-8 classrooms to enrich the learning process.

The course is held in person on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:50 PM during the Spring 2027 semester. 

Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of an earned master’s degree in education, fine arts, or related field(s). 
  • Substantive experience teaching visual arts, drama, music, and/or dance in PK-12 settings or integrating fine arts into the self-contained elementary classroom.
