Position is located in Franklin County, OH.
The Urban Extension Educators Coordinator 4 will work collaboratively with the Franklin County 4-H Youth Development Educator to design, conduct and evaluate educational programs to focus on urban youth and programming designed to meet local priorities. The Urban Extension Educators Coordinator 4, 4-H Youth Development will work collaboratively to provide leadership to a comprehensive positive youth development program by involving youth in after-school programs, in-school programs, Spin Clubs, and Car Teens.
The Urban Extension Educators Coordinator 4 participates in community events to promote programs and to make connections for urban programming. Actively participates in advisory committee meetings. Conducts focus groups with partners and organizations in urban areas of the county to gain input for program development and implementation. Utilizes marketing strategies to make partnerships and recruit participants. Coordinate needs assessments with OSU Extension, teachers and school leadership. Utilizes communication channels to inform clientele, peers, and support teams about programming and opportunities. In coordination with OSU Extension county and state teams, identifies, recruits, and develops volunteer leadership necessary to carry out relevant programming. Coordinates volunteer programs to meet the mission of OSU Extension and to meet the needs of Franklin County. Develops volunteer position descriptions relating to urban programming and partners with companies and organizations to recruit new OSU Extension volunteers to support programming.
Serves as a Franklin County Extension team member, engaging with colleagues, advisory committee members, potential funders, and others to address immediate priorities and explore plans for the future.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 4 years of relevant experience required. 6 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
The pay range for this profile is 18.56 - 24.09/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
