Visa Information
TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
Position Description
Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.
Major/Essential Functions
 
  • Follows TTUS and TTUHSC Operating, IT and Safety Policies, completing all training as required.
  • Vitals Spirit Shop Operations
    • Oversees daily in-store and online operations, including payment processing, visual merchandising, online sales, order fulfillment, shipping, and general store operations. Ensures an organized, efficient, and customer-focused retail environment
  • Product, Vendor & Inventory Management
    • Manages vendor relationships, product sourcing, purchasing, inventory, and promotional items. Collaborates with creative partners to develop on-trend merchandise and ensures quality products are ordered, received, maintained, and distributed to meet customer and operational needs.
  • Marketing, Brand Growth & Campus Engagement
    • Develops and executes strategies to increase sales, customer engagement, and Vitals brand visibility across TTUHSC campuses. Manages social media and promotional efforts and coordinates Pop-Up Spirit Shop events, graduations, campus outreach, and other sales opportunities.
  • Financial Performance & Analytics
    • Collaborates with the Visitor Center Director to establish and monitor budgets, sales goals, and key performance indicators. Analyzes sales, inventory, and customer trends and provides regular reports and recommendations to support business growth and operational decisions.
  • Food & Beverage Operations
    • Manages Coca-Cola, coffee, and Grab-N-Go operations, including ordering, inventory, product rotation, cleanliness, and organization to maintain consistent availability and a high-quality customer experience.
  • Visitor Center Support
    • Provides Visitor Center lobby coverage and assists visitors as needed. Serves as backup to the Visitor Center Coordinator and supports essential Visitor Center operations as directed.

Occasional Duties
  • Contribute to the overall success of the University and External Relations Division by performing other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as needed

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal six (6) years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Event experience and retail experience.
  • Experience with budgets and business development.
