Job Details
The College of Business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks applicants for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor level position starting Fall 2027. Applicants should demonstrate the ability and qualifications commensurate with the rank of Assistant Professor. Upon hiring, they are also expected to show successful and ongoing involvement in the Department and the College’s research, service, and teaching (undergraduate and graduate programs).
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in marketing or a related discipline from an AACSB or equivalent accredited School or College of Business at the time of the appointment. Additional requirements include a demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research aimed at top-tier marketing journals, research in the domain of managerial marketing (e.g., marketing strategy, B2B, sales), the ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and experience and credentials commensurate with the rank of Assistant Professor.
Preference will be given to candidates who have either manuscripts published or with invited revisions in top-tier marketing journals.

About the Department of Marketing
The Department of Marketing (https://business.unl.edu/marketing/) has 15 faculty members. It provides a very collegial environment for research and teaching. The Agribusiness Program and the Center for Sales Excellence are also housed in the department, offering resources and opportunities for collaboration with industry partners.
