The Coordinator of Double Wolf Pathways owns the University of West Georgia's Double Wolf program and runs its two pathways, Start Early and Direct Admit, as a single recruitment operation. Double Wolf lets qualified UWG undergraduates move into a UWG master's program without an application, either by sharing up to twelve graduate credit hours toward both degrees or by being admitted directly during the senior year. This is a new position created to give the program a single owner. The pathways currently operate across staff who also carry graduate admissions and graduate student support responsibilities, so the work happens in the margins. The coordinator is responsible for the entire student experience from identification through enrollment in the master's program, and for the results the program produces. The target for FY27 is 300 Double Wolf students across both pathways, drawn from a currently eligible undergraduate population of approximately 1,400. The person in this role is expected to set the recruitment plan, build the partnerships across colleges and advising that make it work, and report progress against the target.
Responsibilities1. Program Ownership and Strategy
Serves as the single point of ownership for the Double Wolf program, including both the Start Early and Direct Admit pathways. Develops and executes the annual recruitment plan for both pathways, including targets by college, program, and pathway. Sets and manages the annual student contact cycle so eligible students are identified and reached early enough to use the pathway that fits them. Recommends changes to program design, eligibility, and policy to the Dean of the Graduate School based on what the data show. - Maintains program documentation, including the pathway playbooks, advisor materials, and student-facing guides.
2. Student Recruitment and Outreach
Identifies eligible undergraduates each term from Banner and builds targeted outreach lists by pathway and program. Conducts direct outreach by email, text, phone, and in person, and meets individually with prospective students to explain the pathway and the fit with their degree plan. Delivers information sessions, classroom visits, and college-level presentations to reach students where they already are. Follows students through the full funnel, including admitted students who have not yet registered, which is the most recoverable loss in the program. Coordinates with Graduate Admissions on application processing, admission decisions, and enrollment for pathway students.
3. Partnerships and Collaboration
Builds and maintains working relationships with graduate program coordinators in every college that offers a Double Wolf pathway. Partners with undergraduate academic advisors so the pathway is presented to students as part of normal degree planning rather than as a separate program. Works with the Registrar, Financial Aid, and the Bursar to resolve the shared-credit, billing, and aid questions that come up for pathway students. Works with University Communications and Marketing on campaigns, web content, and print materials for the program. -Represents the Graduate School and the Double Wolf program at university recruitment and student success events.
4. Data, Tracking, and Reporting
Maintains the tracking system for pathway participants from identification through masters enrollment and completion. - Reports pathway performance separately against its own capture rate so a shortfall in one pathway is visible rather than absorbed. Prepares regular progress reports for the Dean of the Graduate School and periodic reports for the Provost. - Analyzes conversion, yield, and retention data and uses it to adjust the recruitment plan.

Required Experience
Three years of professional experience in academic advising, admissions, enrollment management, student success, or a closely related higher education field. Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesABILITIES
Ability to run a program independently and make decisions without close supervision. - Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain a complicated pathway simply to a nineteen year old and to a department chair in the same week. - Ability to build credibility and working relationships across colleges, departments, and administrative offices without direct authority.
Physical Requirements
Lifting up to 20lbs or greater Office Environment - Work normally performed in a typical interior work environment.
