The Business Division at Reading Area Community College (RACC) seeks adjunct instructors to teach Accounting courses.

These courses may include financial, managerial, or applied accounting and will integrate industry-standard tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, and Power BI. Instructors will help students build competencies in financial reporting, analysis, and workforce readiness aligned with transfer and career pathways.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated teaching ability in accounting.
  • Proficiency with financial reporting and accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Commitment to the community college mission and student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA, CMA, or related professional credential.
  • Community college teaching experience.
  • Professional experience in accounting, auditing, tax, or finance.
  • Experience with ERP systems, cloud accounting, or data analytics tools.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and cultural engagement in teaching.
