Visa Information
TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
Position Description
This Position is Open to TTUHSC Employees OnlyA Software Administrator I is an entry-level professional who works under close guidance to manage and support assigned software systems, such as IAM or LMS/Exam platforms. This role focuses on maintaining system reliability, security, and performance while providing basic support functions for access management or LMS tools at a departmental or program level.
Major/Essential Functions

• Collaborate with faculty to create, prepare, and support secure assessments aligned with course and program learning objectives.
• Coordinate with proctors, staff, and faculty to support testing for traditional and hybrid pathway learners.
• Review and investigate testing irregularities, including improper room scans, incomplete environmental checks, suspicious behavior, and violations of exam procedures.
• Communicate with teaching teams, students, and administrators regarding noncompliance with testing protocols.
• Support faculty with the transfer of grades from ExamSoft into D2L Brightspace.
• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to faculty, students, and proctors regarding exam administration and testing technologies.
• Manage ExamSoft and Examplify, including course setup, exam posting, user accounts, licensing, and technical troubleshooting.
• Maintain centralized testing records; assist with accreditation reporting; coordinate student and faculty compliance matters; and support institutional assessment policies.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus two (2) years related full-time paid experience in application support OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal six (6) years.

In accordance with Texas Executive Order GA-48 and applicable state or federal law, this position may involve access to, work on, or conduct research involving critical infrastructure. It will require background checks, including, but not limited to, criminal history and other security-related screenings. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of these checks.
Preferred Qualifications

• Must be a current TTUHSC employee in good standing.
• Knowledge of accommodations and compliance requirements for academic assessments.
• Competency in using academic assessment systems, including ExamSoft/Examplify and LMS integration (D2L Brightspace).
• Understanding of secure online testing protocols, proctoring standards, and academic integrity principles.
