Professor of Drama

Salary Range or Pay Grade Associate Professor - $139,000 - $162,000; Full Professor: $180,000 - $288,000 Description The Department of English and the Lewis Center for the Arts are seeking an outstanding tenured senior hire working in the field of drama broadly defined, including: the literature, history, practice, and theory of drama; dramatic criticism and the history of dramatic criticism; drama in relation to aesthetics and to other media; the theory and history of theatre and of theatrical performance. This is a joint position between the Theater and Music Theater Program of the Lewis Center for the Arts and the Department of English. Qualifications In addition to an outstanding record of research and publication, the candidate will have evidence of dedication to teaching and advising both undergraduates and graduate students, and a willingness to serve as an active member of both English and the Lewis Center.
