Job Details
Core Duties:
Greet, sign in and route visitors to appropriateindividuals.
Answer phones and serve as a resource on unit procedures andgeneral inquiries.
Maintain employee and department directories.
Ensure adherence to security by following procedures; monitorlogbook; issue visitor badges.
Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying withprocedures, rules, and regulations.
Schedule conference rooms and/or permits as appropriate.
Sort and distribute mail. Receive and sign for delivery ofpackages.
Maintain the general filing system.
Monitor the use of supplies and equipment.
May be responsible for petty cash.
May serve as the point of contact for general maintenance, healthand safety, and other facility concerns within the unit(s).
Minimum Education andExperience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
Strong telephone skills.
Demonstrated professionalism, maturity and tact.
Basic computer skills and demonstrated experience with officesoftware and email applications.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
