Position Summary

The Program Supervisor (Legal Programs) supports the strategic, academic, and operational management of the Legal Programs portfolio within Academic Programs and Learning Innovation, which includes programs in Law, Human Resources, and Organizational Development. Working under the direction of the Program Director, the Program Supervisor helps ensure academic excellence, operational efficiency, and responsiveness to workforce and community needs across a diverse portfolio of professional education offerings.

The Program Supervisor serves as the Director's operational designee when delegated and provides leadership in the planning, coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs and initiatives. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional partners, including Teaching & Learning, Marketing & Communications, Academic Advising and Student Success, Enrollment Management, and other Academic Affairs and administrative units, to ensure a high-quality and consistent experience for instructors, students, and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with strong operational execution, using data-informed decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement practices to advance program quality, enrollment growth, student success, and organizational impact. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships with instructors and industry partners, and support the development of innovative educational offerings that align with industry trends and workforce needs.

Qualifications

5+ years Minimum experience in managing academic or professional education programs. (Required)

Demonstrated commitment to excellent internal and external customer service, with professionalism, fairness, dignity, and respect. (Required)

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, well crafted reports, course descriptions, marketing copy, and correspondence. (Required)

Knowledge of curriculum development, adult learning theory, and educational operations. (Required)

Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. (Required)

Advanced project and time management abilities, including planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks under shifting deadlines. (Required)

Experience with basic marketing and market research principles to support program promotion and audience targeting; proficiently use digital content creation tools to create promotional materials. (Required)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, follow through on projects with minimal supervision, and maintain accountability for results. (Required)

Demonstrated project leadership and coordination skills, including workflow organization, cross functional collaboration, onboarding support for instructors, and fostering a supportive, high performance team environment without formal supervisory authority. (Required)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher), Adobe Acrobat, and general Windows-based applications; savvy in learning and using technology efficiently. (Required)

Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills, including budget preparation, trend analysis, and interpretation of financial data; ability to collect, interpret, and present data to inform the Director's decision-making. (Required)

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across academic and administrative units and represent the portfolio in cross functional initiatives. (Required)

Knowledge of accounting principles and university business policies. (Preferred)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training (Required) And

Master's Degree Master’s/terminal degree and/or equivalent experience and educational training (Preferred)
