Job Details
The Records Analyst will enter data, review and verify documents, file and retrieve documents, and provide customer service to students and faculty. Responsibilities may include entering data into the student record database; collecting and verifying documentation; creating and maintaining files; and responding to inquiries on the phone, in person, and by email. Maintains high-quality customer service during non-peak times and effectively handles competing and varied responsibilities during peak times. Provides service on a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend (Saturday) work hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and process all admissions applications through CFNC and OnBase short applications. Maintain prompt communication with students through welcome and acceptance emails.
- Support the online transcript process by completing requests for official or unofficial transcripts and resolving any transcript submissions
- Manage Rowan-Cabarrus email accounts and respond as appropriate. Runs Informer reports to evaluate necessary updates to any RDS changes that may affect the student residency status
- Handle multiple responsibilities as it relates to the student record. i.e., Duplicate record corrections; change in statuses of student types, identify solutions to complex problems, process degree verification, enrollment verification’s deferment forms, Letter of Good Standing, maintain deceased student process, and scanning necessary student documents in OnBase. Supports all ongoing registration efforts, CCP troubleshooting, and document review to ensure compliance. Supports all efforts involved in the admission application processing, including short applications, transcript processing, and mailing of acceptance letters on an as-needed basis
Required Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and two (2) years of experience in higher education student records; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- Associate's degree in business or related field.
- Colleague Experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish
