Competency Assessment Project Coordinator
Job Description:This is a two-year, time-limited position reporting directly to the Project Director. The Competency Assessment Project Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, coordination, and assessment of project activities related to data competency assessments and data-skills training. The position works collaboratively with project team members, trainers, participants, and other stakeholders to coordinate events, communications, marketing, implementation activities, and project deliverables, including a two-day research symposium.
Job Duties
Hours
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, between 10 and 20 hours per week
The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, but schedule may vary depending on project needs.
Expected Salary:$22.00/hr
Required Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in planning and setting priorities.
- Ability to develop training content and teaching materials that incorporate instructional design concepts.
- Experience in event planning.
- Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office applications including Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and complete projects, including maintaining workflows and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with faculty and administrators.
- Initiative, flexibility, and the ability to adapt and work creatively in a complex, rapidly changing academic environment.
- Commitment to contributing to a respectful and caring community for all, including individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and perspectives.
