This is a Part-Time (19 hours per week) student Tutor I position located in the Learning Commons Department for the following areas:
- Math
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Writing/English
- History
- ESOL/ELL
- Health Sciences
- Applied Sciences

This is a security-sensitive position and requires a criminal history and/or motor vehicle records check. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Responsible for directly tutoring individuals by asking and answering questions and demonstrating examples relating to the subject.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WORK ENVIRONMENTThe employee typically works in an office/library learning center environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office or library. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day. PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to twenty (20) pounds.AI Statement:Working knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and the ability to use them responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with organizational guidelines.
