Under general supervision from the Associate Dean, College and Career Readiness, this position is responsible for providing case management to students in Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs, along with student transition to and success in post-secondary courses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

7. Develop and use tools and processes to enter data, create reports, track activity, for grant accountability, and promote retention, transition to target postsecondary courses, and course success.
8. Lead and engage in college-wide initiatives (i.e. training, committees, campus events) to create innovative strategies to support enrollment, retention, completion and overall student success.
9. Create, develop, and implement strategic programming that supports student retention. Programming may include trainings, mentorship from external partners, workshops, classes, etc. Evaluate effectiveness for continuous improvement.
10. Collaborate, lead and partner with academic professionals (i.e. Deans, Associate Deans, and Faculty and other personnel) to develop best practices as it relates to the retention and graduation of students.
11. Collect feedback, formally and informally from stakeholders.
12. Organize and Co-Lead IET Advisory Committee
13. Support the transition of Adult Basic Education students to post-secondary education.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
- Ability to organize and coordinate projects to meet goals and deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including group presentations.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with multiple diverse constituencies.
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Two years of related work experience in secondary or higher education, such as, teaching, advising, career planning, placement services, and/or case management.
- Experience working with students needing academic support.
The Navigator-Student Life (Limited Termed Employment-LTE) position supports the College & Career Readiness department.This is a limited-term, grant-funded position through June 30, 2027. Work is in person on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Position is benefits eligible.
