Job Details

The Admissions Director oversees the integrated strategy for developing and executing comprehensive recruitment, admissions, yield, and retention strategies. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, data analytics, CRM optimization, partner relationship building, and cross-functional collaboration with admissions, financial aid, marketing, academic departments, and student success teams. The Director is accountable for enrollment forecasting, budget management, process improvement, and delivering measurable outcomes aligned with institutional goals for headcount, revenue, and retention.

Essential Responsibilities

Develop and implement annual recruitment and admissions plans aligned with institutional enrollment goals. Supervise, train, and support admissions counselors and admissions staff. Manage the admissions funnel from inquiry through enrollment, including applications, admits, deposits, and yield activity. Use systems to track prospects, manage communication, monitor staff activity, and improve follow-up. Lead the responsible use of automation, AI-supported tools, chatbots, text platforms, and digital communication to improve responsiveness and student engagement. Analyze enrollment data and provide regular reports on inquiries, applications, admits, deposits, visits, yield, and enrollment projections. Strengthen communication with prospective students and families through email, text, phone, campus visits, social media, events, and digital campaigns. Collaborate with Financial Aid, Athletics, Marketing, Registrar, Academics, Student Life, and Student Success to remove enrollment barriers. Ensure admissions practices are ethical, student-centered, accurate, and consistent with institutional policies. Represent Central Christian College of Kansas in a manner consistent with its Christian mission, values, and commitment to Christ-centered education. Perform other duties as assigned.  

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred. Experience in admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, higher education, sales, marketing, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage progress toward measurable goals. Experience with CRM’s, student information systems, AI-supported admissions tools, chatbots, text platforms, marketing automation, digital campaigns, and enrollment dashboards. Strong communication, public-speaking, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work some evenings and weekends and travel as needed. Understanding of financial aid, scholarships, affordability messaging, and student recruitment trends. Alignment with the mission and values of Central Christian College of Kansas.
