This position provides administrative academic support for the College of Allied Health Sciences programs. Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, provide guidance to the Academic and Student Affairs support team. Ensure all educational activities within the College of Allied Health Sciences are conducted efficiently, meet compliance requirements and are aligned with the college's goals in educational excellence. Provide administrative support to Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to include the oversight of the Associate's Dean's calendar.
Responsibilities The duties include, but are not limited to:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:- Coordinate and provide support for students and faculty functions within the CAHS to include assemblies, student and faculty orientation
- Under the oversight of the Associate Dean and Alpha Eta, facilitate the processes for student awards and scholarships.
- Prepare and process CAHS Student Liability annual payment.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of one year of experience in administrative support role.
Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in an academic setting.
KNOWLEDGE
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and other computer software/databases.
SKILLS
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
ABILITIES
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines despite often interruptions, maintain confidentiality, keep accurate records and make independent decisions
Shift: Days/M-F
Pay Band: B7
Salary: Minimum $20.29/hour - Midpoint: $21.39/hour
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
