Location: University of Pennsylvania - Perelman School of Medicine
Open Date: Apr 02, 2026
Deadline:

The Favilla Lab and the Penn Comprehensive Stroke Center are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our multidisciplinary team in supporting multiple NIH funded projects that span translational and clinical topics in stroke neurology. The labs focuses on translating bedside cerebral hemodynamic monitoring techniques to refine novel biomarkers in stroke care. The Postdoctoral Researcher will receive training in bedside hemodynamic modalities (e.g., optical CBF imaging, TCD) in order to support ongoing projects. This Postdoctoral Researcher will be a key contributor to our multidisciplinary team, and they will have the opportunity to explore their own interests, author manuscripts, present at conferences, and develop their own projects within the context of the lab's larger body of work.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in biomedical research, be highly motivated to participate in team-based clinical science, and be particularly comfortable with interacting with patients at the bedside.
