Nature & Purpose of Position:Provide direct professional assistance to the Administrative Assistants and the Department Chair for the Department of Art. This includes serving in a capacity of being “first impression” and “setting the tone” of the Department with all visitors to the office. The student worker will have frequent contact with students and student files, and they will understand and respect FERPA guidelines. They should be detail-oriented, complete tasks in a timely manner, and be self-motivated.
Other Requirements for the Position:Job Responsibilities:· Assist with answering telephones, filing, and running errands on campus· Greet office guests, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate individual(s)· Enter data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets· Distribute incoming mail· Assist in monitoring and restocking-needs of office supplies· Other duties as assigned
