Technical Crew - FPAC On-Call Staff (Summer-Fall)

Work Location:Main Campus
Duties:FPAC On-Call Staff (Technical Crew)
Provides all lighting, scenic, sound, and some video support for events in the Fine and Performing Arts Center. This includes Academic Music, Academic Theatre, the Performing Arts Series, and internal/external rental events. Ongoing on-call position. Hours vary per week.
Evening and weekend work is required.
Minimum of high school diploma or high school equivalent/general education degree (GED) required. Please clearly list any related experience on resume/application.
Qualifications:- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel, etc.), Outlook email, and internet
- Basic understanding of scene shop tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated, self-directed, and able to work alone or as part of a team, as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend, and repeatedly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of theatrical equipment is preferred
- Understanding of theatrical terms preferred
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
Part Time
Hours:On call positions – hours will vary.
Evening/Weekend hours needed.
$15.00-$21.00/hour (On-Call Levels 1,2,3,4)
