Job Type: Part-Time, 12-Month

The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a Holistic Student Support Professional in our Holistic Student Support Center. The Holistic Student Support Professional provides professional support services to the Holistic Student Support area including the Help Desk, Testing Center, Onboarding New Students, and Holistic Student Support/Advisement.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Assists students with processes related to enrollment, registration, placement testing, and Holistic Student Support/advisement;
  • Triages student issues as related to enrollment, registration, placement testing and holistic student support/advisement;
  • Makes effective referrals for support services or other areas of the college;
  • Aids areas of Holistic Student Support during peak periods of activity or staffing issue;
  • Assists with the enrollment process delivery and sustainability for Holistic Student Support;
  • Generates reports as requested;
  • Other duties as required.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm. Weekly hours may vary based on departmental needs. Successful candidate must be flexible and able to accommodate occasional adjustments to their work schedule.

    Hours per week: approximately 20

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Effective communication skills (oral, written, computer)
    • Ability to multi-task and interact with diverse student population
    • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
