Job Details
Based on course content, wages will range from $1,297.00 per credit to $3,753.00 per credit.
In certain instances, due to low enrollment, faculty payment will be based on part-time per credit pay and pro-rated on a 10% per student basis.

This is a part-time faculty position teaching college-level American Sign Language (ASL) courses. Occasional travel may be required.
Job Duties:
Teach 1000 & 2000-level American Sign Language courses in person.
Maintain compliance with the provisions of the College’s part-time faculty position description including teaching to develop, implement, evaluate and update the purpose, philosophy, objectives and organizational framework of the program.
Maintain compliance regarding all faculty responsibilities enumerated in the College Policies and Procedures.
Teach at any scheduled time including evenings and weekends as assigned by Department Chair or Academic Dean.
Teach at any College location (Fort Lupton, Greeley, Loveland, Windsor) as assigned.
Provide effective and high quality instruction in all levels of course offerings by continually refining and modernizing curriculum so that it remains educationally sound and meets the high standards of the College.
Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum using written plans.
Post and maintain teaching and office hour schedules.
Use alternative delivery technology in lecture and laboratory instruction to enhance student learning.
Embrace and apply the provisions of the institutional Mission, Vision and Philosophy.
Apply learning-centered educational practices such as creating and communicating clearly defined outcomes for student learning.
Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in American Sign Language OR master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate level credit hours in American Sign Language.
Demonstrated ability to communicate in American Sign Language effectively.
