    Job Summary

    The General Services Technician has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, custodial tasks, setting up for events, assisting Physical Plant maintenance personnel, and assisting with transportation of materials, furniture, etc. This is a full-time position that reports to LSCPA’s General Services Department.

    Duties/Responsibilities

  • Clean and perform maintenance tasks at assigned facilities
  • Complete general facility maintenance tasks (i.e., pressure washing, minor repairs)
  • Event arrangement (i.e., setting up stage units, tables, and chairs for events)
  • Comply with campus policies and procedures
  • Other related duties, as assigned
    • Minimum/Preferred Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior custodial and/or maintenance work experience
  • Valid driver’s license
    • Supplemental Information

    Physical Requirements:
    This position requires the ability to exert heavy physical effort; move to various locations on campus; and operate heavy equipment.
