Adjunct Instructors (WCPS Dual Enrollment)- English & Humanities

The Division of English and Humanities is currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors for Maryland Blueprint course sections that may be potentially offered at WCPS High schools in the upcoming academic year. Applicants must be current WCPS high school teachers. Applications will be accepted for those who can teach in the following area(s) or discipline(s):

English: ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 112Communication: COM 103Languages:
Spanish: SPN 201, SPN 202French: FRN 201, FRN 202Japanese: JPN 201, JPN 202German: GER 201, GER 202
Visual Arts: ART 101, ART 102, ART 103, ART 120Theater: THR 114, THR 101Music: MUS 101, MUS 180, MUS 201, MUS 130, MUS 103, MUS 134Dance: DNC 101, Dance Studio Offerings

Instructors will work with division directors and the full-time faculty to deliver the same course-specific instructional content that is taught at the main campus or online. Course-Specific common assignments for student learning outcome assessments are also required.

APPLICANTS MUST BE CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS WITH WASHINGTON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

Education: To be considered, all applicants must meet the minimum standard for each program set forth in the Adjunct Faculty Minimum Credentials document.
