Job Description:

The College embraces and seeks to hire individuals who want to be a part of this environment and have the skill sets necessary to be successful in this position.The Automotive/Collision Tool Room Clerk supports the automotive/collision technology program by managing, issuing, and maintaining tools, equipment, and supplies used by students and instructors in instructional labs. This role ensures tools are available, accounted for, and properly maintained to support a safe, organized, and effective learning environment.Occasional travel may be required.
Job Duties:
Oversight of tool room inventory
Monitor tool crib for loss prevention
Check-in/Check-out tools, equipment, vehicles, etc.
Track use of tools, equipment and vehicles
Stocking and re-stocking of tools and equipment
Directing traffic in/out of garage
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of automotive tools
Ability to work independently
Able to lift 20 pounds
Able to perform tasks as needed, and take direction
Punctuality
Ability to work with a diverse population
Consistent attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude
