Job Details

The Department of Mathematics of Colgate University is accepting applications for at least one 1-year visiting assistant professorship starting Fall 2025.

Completion of a PhD in mathematics is expected prior to, or shortly after, the date of hire. Evidence of excellence in teaching is required. The successful candidate will, in the course of each academic year, teach five sections of our elementary courses (typically, Calculus I, II, or III). Each semester there will be at most two different course preparations required.
