The School of Engineering at the Lebanese American University (LAU) is seeking highly qualified applicants for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in one of the following areas identified as strategic research priorities for the school:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Robotics
The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in one of the listed research areas and to collaborate with other members of the research cluster. The successful candidate is also expected to apply for extramural funding and supervise students and postdoctoral researchers, in addition to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. degree in Engineering. The position will be at the assistant professor rank, but qualified candidates with established teaching and research credentials will be considered at higher ranks. The teaching duties might cover the Byblos campus, Beirut campus or both campuses depending on the needs of the school.
