Job Details
This is for a Music Adjunct Faculty position that will teach OC’s various Music History, Theory, Fundamentals, and Appreciation classes. We are seeking someone who can teach in person as well as teach remotely, should circumstances demand that modality. The position entails the teaching of course(s) in accordance with the college catalog, schedule of class offerings, course outlines designed by full-time faculty in the discipline, course syllabi, and any other discipline and/or division guidelines. The position includes the preparation of instructional materials, grading, and maintenance of accurate records for students. Adjunct faculty are also required to provide class syllabi to students and submit requested documents and materials to the division office as needed. Olympic College seeks applicants who are dedicated to student-centered learning, closing achievement gaps, supporting diversity, and social justice learning opportunities, and who employ data-informed decision-making in their instruction.
