Job Summary

The Economics Department is dedicated to preparing students for the workforce of the future. Our B.B.A., B.S. and B.A. in Economics prepares students for a variety of different organizations and industries. Our degrees are the B.BA in Economics, Data Intelligence and Business Analytics, B.S. in Economics, and B.A. in International Economic
Affairs.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in Economics or related field; or a Master’s degree (MBA) with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in economics-related coursework.

Required Experience

Work experience and/or teaching experience in economics or related field.

Conditions of Employment

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, codified at 20 USC 1092 (f) as a part of the Higher Education Act of 1965, is a federal law that requires colleges and universities to disclose certain timely and annual information about campus crime and security policies.

It is always the policy of the University of West Georgia Police Department to provide to the public an annual campus security report and comply with the federal law known as the Clery Act.
