Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Captures images and portraits at university events, lectures, concerts and gatherings for use in marketing and communications materials and a variety of Hofstra publications and electronic media.
•Recruits, trains and supervises student photographers and contracts with and oversees freelance photographers.
•Coordinates scheduling to ensure every event is staffed appropriately for all photography needs.
•Manages the University’s photo archives.


This position requires a flexible schedule which will vary as needed, particularly during the Fall and Spring semesters. Additional hours, including early mornings, evening and weekends, will be required in support of special projects and events.

Qualifications:Required:

•Bachelor’s degree.
•Minimum three (3) years’ experience and a portfolio that includes event and marketing photography.
