The Admissions Evaluator is responsible for proactively facilitating the process necessary for the expedient and accurate admission of students to NLU. It requires a thorough understanding of the specific admissions policies, practices and requirements of more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs.
Specific responsibilities include: Evaluate new and in-progress applications for missing credentials, communicate regularly with applicants to clarify admissions requirements and to advise on application status, verify that admission information in BANNER is accurate and maintained according to established data entry standards, coordinate the seamless transition between admissions and other departments and other duties as assigned.
3 to 5 years of previous, related experience, associates degree required, bachelors degree preferred, demonstrated analytical skills, decision making ability, ability to multi-task, highly organized and critical thinking ability.
