Applications are invited for one Finance faculty position. We plan to hire at either the Full Professor, or the Associate Professor, level and seek candidates with specialization in any one of the following areas -- Corporate Finance, Investments, or International. Candidates with a Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB accredited program are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include high quality research, teaching and university service.
Candidates for the Full Professor position must have an outstanding record of scholarship in top journals in finance/financial economics and evidence of effective teaching and service. Current or recent past editorship of top tier journal(s) is a plus. We are interested in candidates who have a record of, and commitment to, continuing to mentor junior faculty in scholarship. For this rank we are also willing to consider an alternative appointment arrangement, such as a renewable term-contract.
Candidates for the Associate Professor position must have an outstanding record of scholarship in top journals in finance/financial economics and evidence of effective teaching and service. We are interested in candidates who demonstrate a continuing commitment to publishing in top journals.
The School of Business Administration and the Accountancy program are AACSB accredited and committed to excellence in teaching and research. The undergraduate program is ranked 40th and the part-time MBA program is ranked 14th nationally, by BusinessWeek-Bloomberg.
