Assistant Professor of Japanese
Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty Position
Department of Foreign Languages
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Japanese faculty position in the Department of Foreign Languages which begins August 2013. Candidates should possess experience in proficiency-based instruction and assessment; facilitation of skill development in Japanese language and culture, and intercultural competence. Assignments for this position will consist of a 3/3 teaching load, curriculum development (including study abroad programming), recruiting, and collaborating with the Asian Studies program. An earned doctorate in Japanese Studies or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate hours in the content area is required.
