The Vice President of Academic Affairs has primary responsibility for all academic functions. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and creative individual with the ability to lead teams both internally and externally. This person will be team oriented with the ability to objectively communicate decisions. Demonstrated belief in the value of diversity in the teaching/learning process is a must.
In this challenging role, you will support Academics at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:
-Provide leadership for all aspects of Academic Affairs and ensure that the division is integrated with all divisions of the college.
-Interact with all college employees as well as the external community. Serve as an executive officer at the College as part of the President's leadership team.
-Foster an environment that is characterized by team work, appreciation for diversity, and inclusiveness.
-Foster an environment, as well as policies and procedures, that encourage creativity and innovation in curriculum development, program structure, and delivery methodologies.
-Develop strong professional ties with the area K-12 system and other colleges and universities.
-Provide strong leadership for continuous quality improvement in all academic functions, specifically, strengthen assessment of learning outcomes and the necessary linkage to institutional strategic planning.
-Other duties and projects as requested by the President.

Master's degree plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible related work experience.
A doctorate is strongly preferred plus ten (10) years of progressive experience to include teaching in a community college.
ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $118,607 (minimum) - $150,708 (midpoint)
HOURS: 40+ hours per week
