Cornell College, a private undergraduate liberal arts college, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Music. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach courses in Music Education and undergraduate Music Theory, and to supervise student teaching in Music Education. Other responsibilities may include supervision/instruction of aural skills, teaching composition, and teaching courses in writing skills in the discipline. Doctorate in Music Education or other music fields, and a commitment to undergraduate education in a liberal arts residential college are required, college and K-12 public school teaching experience preferred.
