Job Description Summary:
Research Assistant will be recruited to work on proposed projects in the area of Discrimination, Drug Use & Risky Sex Cognitions Among Young African Americans gaining experience in experimental methodologies and approaches.
A BA/BS in related discipline is required or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required.
1 year of relevant experience is desired.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
Assists in study preparation. Recruits and schedules study participants.
Collects, analyzes and processes data as needed. Conducts data cleaning. Provides data/lab management.
Assists in overseeing experimenters who participate in data collection.
Assists in manuscript preparation (such as literary searches) and research dissemination in scientific meetings.
Performs other work related duties as assigned. Omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
