Biology Instructional Office - College of Natural Sciences - The University of Texas at Austin

The Biology Instructional Office is developing a pool of candidates for possible full-time or part-time non-tenure track faculty positions for the 2018-19 academic year. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching, research and service.
Duties include teaching organized undergraduate courses in one or more of four biology departments: Biology Instructional Office, Integrative Biology, Molecular Biosciences, and Neuroscience. Desired areas of expertise include: biochemistry, cell biology, computational biology, developmental biology, ecology, evolution, genetics, introductory biology, microbiology, molecular biology, natural history, and taxon-based courses. Service and committee assignments, and curriculum development opportunities are possible.
A Master's degree is required, but a PhD and previous teaching experience are strongly preferred. A full-time teaching load is 3 courses per semester. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching and service.
