CLIN AST/ASO/FULL PROF
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a full service academic Department with faculty in all disciplines of obstetrics and gynecology. The MFM Division cares for patients in the outpatient setting who seek prenatal diagnosis and screening, fetal imaging, care for maternal medical and obstetric complications. The MFM Division supports hospital antepartum care as well as labor and delivery services. Outreach care is provided to one site near UF.
The Division supports a maternal fetal medicine fellowship program approved for one fellow each year. Faculty can take advantage of the CTSI program and start up packages for those with Basic/Translational Science training or proven track records are available. The Division contributes to the learning experience of residents and medical students. There are 16 motivated and highly qualified residents.
Gainesville is a college town with cultural opportunities and sports venues. Clear springs, scuba diving, hiking and bike trails are on our doorsteps. Disney World and other Orlando attractions are within 90 minutes and the Gulf Coast and Atlantic Beaches are less than a two hour drive. Come – work and play in Florida!
All suitable candidates are expected to be American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology – Maternal Fetal Medicine certified or eligible. There are two available positions at this time.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Medical Degree or equivalent, Florida medical license, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) board certified or eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and clinical and /or basic science research experience.
