APPOINTMENT: Temporary positions, determined as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching/Primary duties include teaching courses on a temporary basis. Incumbents may also be responsible for holding office hours and being accessible to meet students, other faculty, and staff, as well as to attend meetings, on days and times other than those of posted office hours and scheduled classes.
RANK & SALARY: Instructor. Salary commensurate with rank and experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in related discipline. Teaching experience with K-12 students and/or college teaching experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. or ABD in appropriate discipline. Professional certification and experience in industry of intended instruction. Prior teaching experience in the discipline of intended instruction.
The Department of Educational & Interdisciplinary Studies & Educational Leadership offers an undergraduate major leading to bilingual/education certification courses at the graduate level that lead to a bilingual/ESL endorsement. The Department also offers a Master of Science in Education, Master of Science in College Student Personnel, and Educational Specialist and an Educational Doctorate degree. Faculty members teach classes at the Macomb and Quad Cities campuses. Our program is NCATE accredited.
